I agree with Jacob Hornberger, "good news and bad news about the coup in Honduras. The good news is that the U.S. government has suspended $16.5 million in military-assistance programs to Honduras and threatened that another $180 million in aid could be at risk. The bad news is that it’s only a temporary suspension and only a threat of a cutoff, not a permanent termination of foreign aid to Honduras and its military."

Your an idiot. Zelaya wants to extend his leftist presidency illegaly and thats ok? You are backing Obama, Chavez, Castro and the rest??
Most Hondurans are happy with the move. Who are you? Are you Honduran?
Christian?
Thanks for reading my blog.
Not sure quite what to make of an anonymous "ad hominem" reply like this.
I am not in favor of our country interfering in the internal affairs of any foreign country. Very expensive to the taxpayers and does not make for good relations with other countries.
Today's politicians should review the wisdom from George Washington's farewell address and from John Quincy Adams on this subject.
I don't back Zelaya's unconstitutional attempt to extend his presidency and I don't think a whole lot of Obama, Chavez, Castro, or other socialists of their ilk either.
I am opposed to spending any money looted forcibly from the U.S. taxpayers on foreign aid. Cutting aid to Honduras temporarily is a nice start.
No Honduran roots here, but I am Christian. Thanks for asking and come back again if you have further constructive comments or any questions on what I believe about U.S. foreign policy or why.
