Philip A Farruggio writes, "To date, America has over 750 military bases in over 100 countries! Anyone wish to know why the ‘man and woman on the street’ worldwide has no use for us? How about every nation that has American military installations hold a referendum? Allow the populace to vote as to whether they want foreign military bases on their sovereign land. Cut and dry, vote and decide. Isn’t that what Bush and his crew meant by ‘bringing democracy to (enter country here)?’"
